Halfmast were a straight edge hardcore band from Buffalo, NY that was part of the mid 90s SxE/Youth Crew revival. Playing a style similar to late 80's greats like Youth of Today, Wide Awake, Judge & Side By Side with a bit of the 90s thrashy hardcore thrown into the mix.
"Together" was originally intended to be a 16 song LP on Conquer The World Records. When that deal fell through, the band pivoted to releasing it as a 9 song 7" on their singer Nick Baran's label, Third Party Records.
Members went on to play in No Time Left, Plagued With Rage, No Reason, Modern Problems, Poison Planet, Dead Hearts, The Control & Tuning.
