Raleigh based post-hardcore rockers Static is a City - ex-members of Milemarker, Dahlia Seed & Blankface.
The first release by the band, and showcases their unique mix of aggression and spacial melody. The songs avoid the standard pallet of what is considered post-hardcore, and instead weave an enigmatic mix of counter tempo and jarring melody over the sociological noir of the lyrics and vocals. The E.P. was recorded in October 2013 at Warrior Sound in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and was engineered by Al Jacob. Artwork by Nick Pyle.
