WILLIAM MARTYR 17 - Celebration of Love 7" DISTRIBUTED 7" vinyl

Info

William Martyr 17 were a short-lived band and underrated hardcore/emo band from Little Rock, AR (USA) that existed in 1994. This 7" was a split release between Bloodlink Records & File 13 Records.
Featuring the founder of File 13 records on vocals. While not as legendary as Chino Horde, or as brutal as Benchmark, they were the younger band on the scene with their own feelings to display. Sadly before they could really find themselves as a band, their drummer, Chris Horne died in a fatal car wreck. Instead of carrying on the torch, the band dissolved half turning up in the Soophie Nun Squad, the others in Hundred Years War.
Comes in a fold over chipboard sleeve hand screened on the front in yellow, red, and white or gray or teal. Reverse is stamped with label information and a butterfly. Some versions are stapled to create a pocket and retain the generic paper inner sleeve.
Comes with various inserts, including: a three-panel envelope-fold insert, hand stamped on the outside with an image of a sun, with lyrics, writings, and an explanation for why the band broke up inside; an eight-panel multi-fold booklet with writings about and reminiscences of Christopher Horne; an eight-panel booklet style insert with writings on top of pages from a hymnal; & catalogs for each of the labels.
The two illustrations on the Christopher Horne insert are taken from Hildegard Von Bingen's Scivias manuscript and both show the transformation of negative to positive.
Recorded in November 1994.
