This makes me think of those obscure eighties hardcore seven inches you pick up because there is a skateboard on the cover. Even the recording makes me think of those great hardcore records with young kids singing about school and skateboarding. The drumming on this record is raging and the tunes are pretty bad ass. If your into stuff like JFA, Dr. Know or Ill Repute you need this.--More Skate Rock from Secret Records. I saw this band once and they did a whole bunch of covers- RKL, Black Flag, Aggression if I remember correctly. All of these influences show through on this record. "Let Us Skate" definitely has some "Intense Energy" in it in particular. Nothing here is too ground breaking or thought provoking, but it’s fun, but it’s raw and juvenile, in the spirit of Punk Rock.
