Portland's BLACK COMMUNION is comprised of current and ex members of Young Turks and Carrion Spring but their sound isn't akin to their previous efforts. Instead of face paced hardcore anthems or jangly 90's emo revival, BLACK COMMUNION offer 5 blasts of well crafted metallic hardcore. Taking influence from some of the masters of the genre Converge, Cave In and Cursed while adding their own twists and moodiness to make a sound that is uniquely their own and not merely a copy cat of their predecessors.
