Eight short blasts at 45 RPM, this goes by quick but is totally worth a listen. Ripping hardcore with vicious high-pitched vocals. Forged in the flames of Long Island, and served up in New Paltz, NY. Devola were probably the best and least known (at least locally) hardcore band around here ever. Complex, sometimes impossible to follow, guitars are complemented by incredible drumming, from one of the best HC drummers I've ever seen. Lyrics are personal, but veiled and up to interpretation by the listener. Chaotic, spazzy emo violence.
